Parents take cereal maker to court

23 Jan 2006

Consumer groups in the US are suing cereal maker Kellogg’s and children’s TV network Nickelodeon in an attempt to restrict advertising for sugary foods. The action is being brought jointly by the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood and two parents. Both companies say they have been encouraging children and families to develop healthy lifestyles.
