Drinking fermented milk can help reduce blood pressure in hypertensives, according to new study in Finland. A combination of milk and lactobacillus has been popular in Scandinadia for many years, and Dr Riita Korpela of Valio Ltd Research and Development in Helsinki, says the tripeptides, isoleucine-proline-proline and valine-proline-proline in the product blocking angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE).
