?More must be done on TV advertising for junk food?

Professor Philip James, chairman of the International Obesity Task Force, is to tell a conference that governments must do more to protect children from food marketing. He will say at the Hormones, Nutrition and Physical Performance Conference in Turin today [30 January 2006], that the UK?s proposed ban on the advertising of junk food on TV at times when children are watching, and the introduction of clearer labelling on foods, will barely scratch the surface of the problem.
