Research presented at the American Chemical Society?s annual meeting shows that there are health benefits associated with grape seed extract (blood pressure reduction), chives (protection against salmonella and other food-borne illnesses), and pine nut oil (appetite suppression). Separate studies carried out at the University of California at Davis and North Carolina A&T State University, and by Lipid Nutrition Co all suggest that there would be a benefit to more detailed work on the findings.
