People with a “sweet tooth” are more likely to enjoy fruit than salty foods, according to a study in the US. The findings of a group of scientists at Cornell University suggest that it may be possible to divert such people from unhealthy sources of sugar. Published in the journal Appetite, the results are based on the self-reported eating habits of more than 14,000 people, as well as information from 405 who responded to the researchers? own survey.
