Scientists in Australia say oily fish, combined with some exercise, may be of benefit to the overweight. They say small daily doses of oil containing Omega-3 fatty acids, and moderate exercise can work together to result in significant weight loss, and point out that taking the oils without exercise, or exercising without taking oils, does not do any good. Professor Peter Howe and colleagues at the University of South Australia, say fish oil increases the elasticity of blood vessel walls and improves the flow of blood to muscles during exercise.
