Trans fat limit is proposed in the US

The health authorities in New York have proposed a near ban on the use of artificial trans fats in restaurants. The city?s health commissioner, Thomas Frieden, says voluntary limitation has failed. Under the proposals, which will be considered by the New York Board of Health on October 30, trans fat content in restaurant meals would have to be less then 0.5g per serving.
