Patient nutrition plan "will fail"

The government’s plans to tackle malnutrition in hospital and care home patients are doomed to failure, according to Patient Concern. The organisation believes the imminent “groundbreaking” drive to improve the nutrition of the elderly will fail to instil a culture of accountability and is likely to be no more than “words on paper”.
