Milk allergy - new findings

An allergy to cow’s milk may persist longer than previously thought, with the majority of children retaining sensitivity into their school years, according to study results published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr Robert Wood and colleagues at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, found that only 19 per cent of children allergic to cow’s milk outgrow the allergy by the age of 4.
