Early calorie intake

Eating a better breakfast and less later in the day may help prevent weight gain in middle age say scientists at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. Dr Nita Forouhi and colleagues at the Institute of Metabolic Science have found that an association between lower weight gain over time and greater calorie intake at breakfast exists after adjustment for healthy lifestyle, baseline weight, total calorie intake, and individual demographics. The results are published in the American Journal of Epidemiology.
