Arsenic in baby food?

One third of rice intended for infants and on sale in British supermarkets contains an unsafe level of arsenic, according to a team at Aberdeen University. In practice, they say, some children could be getting six times the amount of inorganic arsenic they should. Prof Andrew Meharg and colleagues tested 17 samples bought in British supermarkets, and their results are reported in Environmental Pollution.
